The municipality of Chepelare is organizing today a sports festival in honor of Ekaterina Dafovska, who won the only Olympic gold medal for Bulgaria in biathlon. This year marks 26 since the Bulgarian athlete claimed the Olympic gold i Nagano.
Many games and competitions await the visitors of the Rhodope town. The program will be opened with greetings from Ekaterina Dafovska, Chepelare Mayor Boran Hadzhiev and Bulgaria‘s best snowboarder Radoslav Yankov.
