Weather conditions are unsuitable for mountain tourism

Weather conditions are unsuitable for mountain tourism- there are hurricane-force winds and temperatures above 2,000 meters are below zero, said the Mountain Rescue Service.

It is raining in the lower parts. It is unclear which facilities will operate, as there are gale-force winds. The Mountain Rescue Service warns tourists not to go to the high parts of the mountains and to be aware of the yellow code alert issued for strong winds. An orange code alert for strong winds has been declared in eight districts. A yellow code is in effect in 18 Bulgarian districts.
