Weather forecast: Temperatures will be above normal

It will be mostly cloudy over the next 24 hours. There will be precipitation in many parts of the country, more significant in Rila and the Rhodope mountains. There will be strong southerly winds in Eastern Bulgaria. There will be light to moderate southerly winds in the western parts of the country. Temperatures will decrease, but will be above normal. The lowest temperatures will range from 5°C to 10°C, for Sofia- around 6°C. Daytime highs will reach 12°C-17°C, for Sofia- around 12°C.

It will be cloudy over the mountains. It will snow on higher ground. It will rain below 1,700 meters. Significant precipitation is expected in Rila and the Rhodopes. There will be strong, before noon gale-force southerly winds. The wind will turn from the northwest in the afternoon hours and will subside. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 6°C, at 2,000 meters- around 0°C.

It will be mostly cloudy over the Black Sea coast. Rain is also in the forecast for the Black Sea coast. There will be strong and gale-force southerly winds. Maximum temperatures will range from 13°C to 17°C. The seawater temperature is 7°C-9°C. Sea state 3-4.
