Skiing facilities in Pamporovo damaged by lightning strikes

Thunderbolts have damaged several major skiing facilities in Pamporovo, BNT reports.

Most of the ski lifts affected are in the area of Mount Snezhanka, but other facilities are also out of order.

Heavy wet snow made the situation worse, leading to the temporary closure of some slopes. The resort management is warning skiers to pay attention to all signs and markings in the ski area.

They assure that the entire ski area will be fully restored and operational by tomorrow, maintaining regular opening hours.
