Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel took part in the regular meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, at which the situation in the Middle East, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and the situation in Sahel were discussed, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has announced.
“Bulgaria supports a decision based on the two-states principle. It is important to have an agreement that will guarantee the security of both sides,” Mariya Gabriel said in a comment on the war in Gaza.
“As the second anniversary of the Russian aggression against Ukraine approaches, we are again sending a message of joint effort and solidarity with Ukraine. Supporting Ukraine is a strategic investment in the security of the Black Sea region and of Europe,” Mariya Gabriel said.
