A spring showcase at a sports facility

Yordan Ivanov, one of the most successful Bulgarian artists in America, who works for America's biggest carnival, Mardi Gras, has undertaken an unusual experiment - he curates an art exhibition in a gym. The venue is a space that is part of the Elite Gymnastix, owned by fellow Bulgarians Elvi and Radoslav Stefanov. In this way, sport and fine art now coexist.

In addition to the three American artists - Christina Juran, John Duplantis and Shawn Gotro - there are paintings by Bulgarian artists Mariana Kalacheva, who lives in Baton Rouge, Jordan Ivanov from New Orleans and Vassilen Vasevski from Chicago.

The joint "Spring Art Exhibition" features 36 paintings. At the opening of the exhibition there was another surprise for the visitors - a violin performance by another Bulgarian - Antoaneta Guzlieva Ortiz.
