Bessarabian Bulgarian Serghei Gaidarji lost his wife Anna and four-month-old son Timothy in a Russian drone strike in Odessa on March 2, BTA reported.

"They lived on the second floor in the entrance of the apartment building, which had completely collapsed. During the night, the mother was in one room with the baby and Sergei was in the other with their five-year-old daughter. They had been asleep when the debris began to cascade over their heads. Serghei woke up and rushed outside, carrying his daughter. When he came back for his wife and son, everything was in ruins," said Trifon Antov, a Bessarabian Bulgarian who is a deputy in the Odessa regional council.

He said Anna Gaidarji and her baby were under the rubble until the middle of the day, when rescuers cleared everything away. Talks are under way with the mayor of Odessa to get help for Serghei Gaidardzhi and his five-year-old daughter.
