Boyko Borissov heads the Bulgarian delegation at EPP congress in Bucharest

The Congress of the European People's Party in the Romanian capital Bucharest, has gathered over 2,000 delegates from 40 countries. It is dedicated to the preparation for the European elections, under the sign of solidarity of the entire European Union with Romania and the countries close to Ukraine. 

The hosts of the event are the Romanian National Liberal Party, EPP President Manfred Weber and EPP General Secretary Thanasis Bakolas. The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, heads of state and government, party leaders and European Commissioners will be present at the forum.

The Bulgarian delegation is headed by GERB leader Boyko Borissov, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mariya Gabriel, representatives of the party's Executive Committee, representatives of SDS, and GERB-SDS MEPs.
