President Radev to begin consultations on March 11

On March 11 and 12 next week, President Rumen Radev will open the constitutional procedure for consultations with political parties in the 49th National Assembly, following the resignation of the government of Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov.

After the consultations, Radev will hand over the first exploratory mandate for forming a government to a candidate for prime minister, nominated by the largest parliamentary group - that of GERB-SDS. On Monday, consultations will be held with GERB-SDS, We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), and on Tuesday with Revival, BSP for Bulgaria and There Is Such a People (ITN).
