Weather forecast for 9 March

A cloudy, but mostly rain-free Saturday

Before midday on Saturday, most of the country will be covered with clouds, but there will be almost no rain. In the afternoon, clouds will begin to clear over northern and eastern Bulgaria. Winds will be light from the east-southeast. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 1°C and 4°C, around 0°C in Sofia, and maximum temperatures will be between 8°C and 13°C, for Sofia - 10°C.

It will be mostly cloudy over the mountains, with scant snow showers in places. There will be light west-southwesterly winds, but in the higher parts of Rila and Pirin they will be moderate from the northwest. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be around 4°C, at 2,000 m - minus 1°C.

There will be low clouds or fog along the Black Sea coast before noon. The afternoon will be mostly sunny with a breeze from the east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be 8°-9°C, the same as the sea temperature. The swell will be 2-3.
