Grigor Dimitrov defeats Alexandre Muller at the ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells

Grigor Dimitrov defeated Alexandre Muller (France) 7:5, 6:2 in the second round of the ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells with a total prize fund of USD 9.5 million. In the third round, the 13-th seeded Bulgarian will face another French opponent - Adrian Mannarino.

Bulgaria’s best female tennis player Viktoriya Tomova was defeated by former world No 4 Caroline Garcia (France) 1:6, 6:3, 3:6. In the first round of the tournament Tomova scored a win against Sofia Kenin who won the 2020 Australian Open. With her performance in Indian Wells, Viktoriya Tomova earned 35 points for the WTA rankings.
