Teleworkers are not obliged to reply to their employer during breaks

In the case of telework, the employee is not obliged to respond to communications initiated by the employer during the daily and weekly rest periods, unless conditions have been agreed in the individual and/or collective agreement under which this is permitted. This was decided by the Parliament after MPs approved the amendments to the Labour Code in the second reading. The amendments submitted by the Council of Ministers mainly regulate the conditions for teleworking. More than one place of work may be agreed in the employment contract.
