The women's organization of the European People's Party has declared its full support for Mariya Gabriel. An appeal published on the Facebook page of the EPP Women states that the outgoing Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister's professional qualifications, political dedication and personal commitment over the years have been a huge inspiration to many women.

"We, the women of the EPP, say "NO!" to all attempts to harm in this way the reputation of one of the most successful Bulgarian and European politicians and a role model, whose name and political convictions guarantee Bulgaria's pro-European and pro-Atlantic orientation! We are proud of you and firmly stand behind you, Mariya! Bulgaria deserves you as its Prime Minister!", declare EPPWomen.
