Weather forecast for 28 March

Yellow code for strong winds in force for 13 districts in central and eastern Bulgaria

On Thursday, minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be between 7 and 12°C, 8°C in Sofia. Around midday, there will be variable cloudiness with sunny spells. Over central and eastern Bulgaria, clouds will increase significantly and showers will fall in some areas. Strong southerly winds will bring warm air from North Africa. A yellow code for strong winds will be issued for 13 districts in central and eastern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will be between 20-25°C, lower on the coast, 20°C in the capital.

The Black Sea coast will be sunny until midday, when clouds and rain are forecast. Air temperatures will range from 15°C in the north to 20°C in the south. The water temperature will be 9-10°C. The swell will be 2-3. 

Rain will fall over the western mountain ranges by midday. Gusty southwesterly winds will carry clouds and precipitation eastwards. Temperatures will reach 13°C at 1,200 m and 6°C at 2,000 m.

On Friday the showers will stop and temperatures will rise.
