Paintings by Ivan Mrkvička and Vladimir Dimitrov-Maistora to be offered at an auction in Sofia

An auction dedicated to modern and post-war Bulgarian art, including a selection of 104 works of art, will be held in Sofia on April 2 at the Hyatt Regency Sofia, BTA reported. 

Among the works are iconic painting by Jaroslav Věšín and three female portraits by Ivan Mrkvička created during his creative journey through Bulgaria. 
Also included are works of art created by some of the most significant authors of the first half of the 20th century such as Vladimir Dimitrov-Maistora, Boris Georgiev, Vasil Stoilov, modernists such as David Peretz and Nikolay Diulgheroff to contemporaries such as Svetlin Rusev.
