Dolna Mitropolia Air Base invites aviation enthusiasts to join the pilots' celebration

12th UAB (12th Training Air Base) will celebrate its annual holiday with an Open Flying Day at Dolna Mitropolia Airport, the base's press office announced. On Saturday, 30 March, the airport will be open to all aviation enthusiasts. 

From 10:00, they are invited to watch the ceremony and the flying programme, which includes simple aerobatics, complex aerobatics, mixed group formation flying, aerobatic display and many other demonstrations.  Pilots from the 12th Air Force Base will perform with Pilatus PC-9M, L-39 Albatros and ZLIN 242L aircraft. Visitors will be able to see aircraft maintenance, fire-fighting and special aviation equipment on display, as well as various types of small arms, high-altitude equipment and flight suits will be on display. 

All guests will have the opportunity to enter the aircraft cockpits and take a selfie.
