Scholars from the Balkans gather in Sofia to discuss art from antiquity to the early modern period

The traditional international scientific conference Art Studies Readings, module Ancient Art, will be held in Sofia from 11 to 13 April. 

The forum, organised by the Institute of Art Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, aims to bring together scholars and experts in the field of art from antiquity to the early modern period. More than 40 specialists from leading academic and cultural institutions in Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia and Romania will participate.

The second module of the conference, New Art, will take place from 17 to 19 April. It will be attended by over 60 scholars from Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Slovakia, etc.
