World star in taekwondo Kimia Alizadeh - named one of the BBC's 100 most influential people - has received a Bulgarian passport and will be able to represent the country at the Paris Olympics. This will be the first time that Bulgaria has had a taekwondo competitor at the highest sporting forum.

Twenty-three-year-old Kimia Alizadeh will also be part of the Bulgarian team at the European Championships in Belgrade in May.

An Iranian refugee in Bulgaria, Kimia Alizadeh is the first woman in the country's sporting history to win an Olympic medal. In Rio de Janeiro she finished third in the 57kg category.
