Bulgaria will no longer participate in rhythmic gymnastics competitions in Baku, Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation President Iliana Raeva said.
Her reaction comes after the undeservedly low score (35.750) given last night to the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble in the five hoops routine at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in the capital of Azerbaijan. The score was not changed despite the subsequent challenge. Thus, the Bulgarian team remains fourth after the first day.
''Our team has been ruthlessly robbed! It's no coincidence that we file a protest for the first time!", Iliana Raeva wrote under a post on the official Facebook page of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation.
