Cool weather and rain expected on Sunday

Significant cloudiness is in the forecast for Saturday night with a chance of isolated showers, mainly in Southwestern Bulgaria. The lowest temperatures will range from 3°C and 8°C, for Sofia around 5°C. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will form in the morning hours of April 21. There will be brief showers and thunderstorms in many places in the afternoon. There will be light to moderate southerly and southeasterly winds. Maximum temperatures will not change significantly and will range from 13°C to 18°C, for Sofia- around 12°C.

There will be significant cloudiness over the mountains. Rain and thunderstorms are also in the forecast. It will snow above 1,500 meters. There will be moderate to strong southerly and southwesterly wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters- around 7°C, at 2,000 meters- around 1°C.

Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will form over the Black Sea coast in the afternoon. There will be brief showers in many places. Daytime highs will reach 15°C-17°C. The seawater temperature is 11°C-12°C along the northern portion of the Black Sea coast and 15°C along the southern portion of the coastline. Sea state 3-4.
