Slight rise in temperatures expected on Monday

Rain showers will temporarily stop overnight from the west. Clouds will be variable on Monday, often decreasing to mostly sunny spells. It will be windy with moderate, in the Danube Plain and eastern Bulgaria - strong winds from the west-northwest. 

Minimum temperatures will be between 4°C and 9°C, in Sofia around 5°C, and maximum temperatures between 15°C and 20°C, in Sofia - around 15°C.

Over the mountains cloud will be variable, often decreasing to mostly sunny intervals. Only in isolated places in the massifs of western Bulgaria light rain is expected, on the peaks - light snow. Moderate to strong winds will blow from the west-southwest. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be about 9°C, at 2,000 m - about 3°C.

Along the Black Sea coast the clouds will be variable, on the northern coastline it will rain in some places. The wind will be oriented from the west and will be moderate to strong. Maximum temperatures will be 15°C-19°C and the sea water temperatures will be 11°C-12°C along the northern coast to 14°C along the southern coast. 

Clouds will be variable over the Balkans, often decreasing to sunny weather over central areas. Mostly cloudy skies with rain showers will be the forecast in the northern half of Romania. Daytime temperatures will rise slightly. It will be 21 °C in Athens, 19 °C in Istanbul, 15 °C in Bucharest and 14 °C in Belgrade.
