Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Caretaker Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeikov discussed the preparations for the elections for National Assembly and for MEPs on June 9, 2024.
Glavchev said that the government will work in strict compliance with the requirements of the electoral legislation to ensure fair and free elections, the government press service reported. The meeting focused on active communication between the administration of the Council of Ministers and Gvozdeikov, to whom the cabinet entrusted the coordination of the implementation of activities and the organizational and technical preparation of the elections. It was also pointed out that all activities will be monitored on a daily basis by the relevant institutions. Talks about the organization of the upcoming vote are also underway with the regional governors.
