Prime Minister: 'We are exploring options for the release of the Bulgarian sailors from the Galaxy Leader'.

Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov met at the Council of Ministers with relatives of the Bulgarian sailors on board the hijacked ship Galaxy Leader, where Glavchev assured that efforts to secure their release were continuing.

The Galaxy Leader, with two Bulgarian sailors on board, was hijacked by the Yemeni Houthis in the Red Sea on November 19 2023.
