BNB draws on Croatia's experience with the introduction of the euro

The Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Dimitar Radev participated in a meeting with the Governor of the Croatian National Bank Boris Vujčić  and the Governor of the National Bank of the Czech Republic Aleš Michl

During the meeting, which took place in Rijeka, there were discussions on various topical issues such as the current economic challenges facing central banks in Europe, inflation, as well as the specific economic and financial structure of each of the countries participating in the forum. 

The euro area accession process and the steps Croatia and Bulgaria have taken towards adopting the euro were also discussed, the BNB said.
