SANS before the elections: We are also monitoring for interference by foreign countries

"The Ministry of the Interior will show that it is a depoliticized system and belongs only to Bulgarian citizens". This was assured on the first day of the pre-election campaign for the European Parliament and 50th National Assembly elections on June 9 by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Kalin Stoyanov. 

Stoyanov emphasized that the fairness of the elections will be guaranteed. Reports of vote buying and other violations will be investigated. 

The chairman of the State Agency for National Security (SANS) Plamen Tonchev assured that foreign countries and groups with extreme attitudes are being monitored.
