Campaign to select the "Mountain Hut of the Year, 2024" begins

Tonight is the official start of the campaign for the selection of the Mountain Hut of the Year, 2024. The huts and shelters nominated in the competition programme and those proposed for financial support and infrastructure improvements will be announced at the launch event. 

Voting is open until 25 September. Categories include "cleanest hut", "best hut without access by motor vehicle", "hut with the best cuisine", etc. The nominating organisations are "Mountains and People" - Association of Mountain Guides in Bulgaria, Association of Parks in Bulgaria, Balkans - Wildlife Association, Bulgarian Mountaineering Union, Mountain Rescue Service, etc.
