FBI awards interim Chief Prosecutor of Bulgaria

FBI Director Christopher Wray awarded the interim Chief Prosecutor of Bulgaria Borislav Sarafov with a certificate of honor for personal contribution to the successful cooperation between the Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office and the FBI in the fight against cross-border organized crime, the press service of the Prosecutor's Office announced.

The certificate was presented at the headquarters of the FBI in the city of Washington. 

Sarafov is on a working visit to the USA at the invitation of the Department of Justice. Borislav Sarafov has expressed his desire to the leadership of the FBI Academy in Bulgaria to hold a series of training seminars with lecturers from the USA. Bulgarian magistrates and officers of the special services will participate in them, with a main focus on cybercrimes and the collection of electronic evidence.
