The association "Angels on the Road", uniting families who lost their loved ones in road traffic accidents, held a motorcade and a pedestrian march in Sofia under the slogan "STOP lawlessness on the roads". They were supported by a number of NGOs.

''Violations by public figures including politicians, judges, prosecutors, municipal councilors, MPs and others should not to be covered up’’, said Ninela Varbanova from the "Angels on the Road" Association. The protesters demanded the municipal councilor Blagovest Georgiev be removed from all positions in the Sofia Municipal Council. In April, Georgiev drove under the influence of alcohol, caused an accident in the capital city, fled the scene and later refused an alcohol and drug test.
