Trains collide at Sofia Central Station, several injured

Two trains collided at Sofia Central Railway Station at around 16.40, the press centre of the Interior Ministry told BNR. The collision occurred between a train bound for Plovdiv and another train performing slow manoeuvres in the station area.

According to initial information, the collision occurred after the driver of the second train fainted, Transport Minister Georgi Gvozdeykov told BNR. Several people were injured in the collision. A number of trains were delayed as a result of the incident.
