Plovdiv to host the Tepe Jamboree marathon

Plovdiv is to host the first of its kind sports and cultural marathon in Bulgaria entitled "Tepe Jamboree" . The 11-kilometer route passes through the city’s seven hills. The competition will take place on June 15. It will start at 6:00 pm at Bunardzhika and finish at the Youth Hill. The control time for completing the entire route is 2 hours and 50 minutes. 

Registration for participation closes on May 31. So far, over 200 people have signed up. The innovation in this marathon includes numerous accompanying cultural events. Along the way, participants will be able to dance salsa and folk dances, listen to a concert or participate in theatre. One of the prize categories in "Tepe Jamboree" is for the "Most Fun and Colorful Team."
