On the eve of the elections for National Assembly and European Parliament, the Council for Electronic Media decided to publish a list of reliable sources of information on its website.
"The closer the election is, the more intense disinformation narratives are spread in the public space. We could be useful to the citizens, helping them navigate the fake news," said one of the promoters of the project, Prolet Velkova. As reliable sources of information, she indicated the specialized portal of the European Commission, the website of the Bulgarian-Romanian Observatory for Digital Media and the website of the European Digital Media Observatory.
The initiative is part of the regulator's actions in support of media literacy.
