Weather forecast: Sunny and warm Sunday with showers

On Sunday the weather will be predominantly sunny, but after midday and in the evening there will be brief showers with thunder mostly over the mountains and in the Eastern parts of the country. Hail is in the forecast for the mountainous regions of Western and Central Bulgaria. The wind will temporarily turn from the West; in the Danubian Plain it will be light to moderate. Maximum temperatures 30-35° C., for Sofia 29-30° C.

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly sunny, but after midday cumulonimbus clouds will gather and there will be brief showers with thunder. There will be a moderate and strong, predominantly Westerly wind which will later turn from the Southwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 23° C., at 2,000 m. around 15° C.  

Over the Black Sea coast the weather will be predominantly sunny. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop in the afternoon and there will be occasional rain and thunder in some parts. Maximum temperatures 25-26° C. over the Northern portion of the seacoast, and up to 32° C. in the South, temperature of the sea water 18-21° C., sea state 2.
