At the traditional Sunday gathering of Bulgarians in South Africa today in Midrand on the occasion of yesterday's Children's Day the books for children of our compatriot Matina Genkova-Mpofu will be presented

"The first children's book I wrote many moons ago is called "Mummy, Why Am I Different?". It is the story of a child with the blood of several races flowing through his veins, which teaches acceptance and tolerance," the author recalls.

The festive program will continue with "A speech about Hristo Botev" prepared by the children from the Bulgarian Sunday School "Slancho" and a Sports Day for young and old.
