For the second year, so-called "cherry" tourism is being organized in the region of Kyustendil, known for its delicious cherries, BNR correspondent Kiril Falin has reported. Groups, families, even entire classes of students from all over the country come to the area. They go into the gardens and pick straight from the trees. At the end, they pay for what they pick at 1 EUR per kilogram and take it home, while on the market, cherries are currently sold at prices of up to 3-4 EUR per kilogram.
