Bulgaria's Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev will participate in the First Ukraine Peace Summit on 15-16 June in the Swiss resort of Bürgenstock near Lucerne.

The forum, organised by Switzerland and Ukraine, is expected to set a framework for future peace talks with Russia. Various issues will be discussed, including Ukraine's grain exports, the safety of the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and humanitarian issues.

Delegations from about 100 countries are taking part in the meeting. Russia has not been invited and China has declined to participate.

Bulgaria is participating in four working groups of the initiative - on Food Security, Energy Security and Restorative Justice, and as co-chair on Environmental Security, together with Germany and Finland.
