GERB's Raya Nazaryan elected speaker of the 50th National Assembly at the third attempt

GERB candidate Raya Nazaryan has been elected Speaker of the 50th National Assembly, ahead of Viktoria Vassileva of Velichie, Petar Petrov of Vazrazhdane and Silvi Kirilov of There is Such a People (ITN). 
The deputy speakers are: Rositsa Kirova of GERB-SDS, Yordan Tsonev of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), Atanas Atanasov of We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB), Tsoncho Ganev of Vazrazhdane, Dragomir Stoynev of BSP for Bulgaria, Andrei Chorbanov of ITN and Victoria Vassileva of Velichie. 

"Thank you for the high honor. This vote ensures the functioning of the authorities," said Nazaryan, who was elected at the third attempt. She expressed the hope that now that the parliament has begun its work, conditions will be created for the normalisation of political processes in the country. "We are responsible for the quality of the legislative work. I believe that each of us will make an effort in this direction," the new Speaker said.
