Viktoriya Tomova has qualified for the second round of Bad Homburg Open

Bulgarian tennis player Viktoriya Tomova has started her participation in the grass-court tournament in Bad Homburg, Germany, with a victory.

The Bulgarian, who passed through the qualifications, prevailed 6:1, 6:3 against Tatjana Maria from Germany. In 2022, Viktoria Tomova's rival reached the Wimbledon semifinals, but lost against Tunisian Ons Jabeur.

In the second round, Tomova will play against Anna Kalinskaya from Russia or Linda Noskova from the Czech Republic.
