The parliamentary group of PP-DB will insist for a hearing of the caretaker Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior in the National Assembly over the reasons for increasing the level of protection of the chairman of GERB, Boyko Borisov. The information emerged after the consultations of the political forces with President Rumen Radev.

"The beginning of the procedure for forming a government is currently underway. The mandate holder is GERB but photos of snipers on Mr. Borisov's fence in Bankya are appearing in the public space," the co-chairman of "Democratic Bulgaria" and former director of the National Security Agency, Atanas Atanasov said. He asked if someone wanted to interfere in this process, affecting the security of the chairman of the mandate-holding party.

Atanas Atanasov also said that the photos were authentic and were taken last week. The head of state has stated that he will discuss the topic with the security services.
