An expert cabinet is the only possible option in a political crisis. This position was expressed by the chairman of the parliamentary group of ITN party Toshko Yordanov at the consultations with President Rumen Radev on forming a government. "The most reasonable, practical and correct move is if you give the third mandate to ITN," said the representative of the sixth strongest political force in the National Assembly.
Starting from the low voter turnout, President Rumen Radev asked the ITN representatives what they thought about changing the electoral system, giving as an example the Greek option where the first political force gets additional mandates. "There is a third option - a presidential repubic", replied Toshko Yordanov. "In countries with presidential rule there are no such crises as we currently have in Bulgaria", the MP explained.

Earlier today, the president said he would announce his decision on when to hand over the first exploratory mandate to form a cabinet after the end of consultations with the parliamentary forces.
