At the European Council, Bulgaria will insist on including a text on the Republic of North Macedonia in the adoption of the conclusions of the meeting, the government press service said.
Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev is representing Bulgaria at the meetings today and tomorrow and will ask the European Council to reaffirm its conclusions of 14 December 2023, as well as the Council conclusions on North Macedonia and Albania of 18 July 2022, and to call on North Macedonia to fulfil the necessary conditions on the path of its European integration.

According to Glavchev, it is important to point out that the implementation of all commitments, as well as progress on all EU-related reforms, remains of key importance.
