Electricity price for households increases, hot water and central heating price falls

As of today, the price of electricity for household consumers will rise by an average of 1.7%, while the price of central heating and hot water will decrease by 8.5%, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission said.

The biggest increase in electricity prices is in Western Bulgaria - 3%, while in Northeastern Bulgaria, the price of electricity will fall by 0.5%.

The price of central heating will decrease between 3% (Veliko Tarnovo) and 14% (Burgas). In Sofia, hot water and central heating prices will fall by 7%. These prices will be valid for the next 12 months.
