New party Velichie on the verge of collapse, says founder

The smallest political party in Parliament - Velichie - is on the verge of collapse, its founder Ivelin Mihaylov has warned, after the party's MPs voted unanimously against the government proposed by GERB. 
Mihaylov told supporters in Razgrad of internal conflicts growing within the new political force in the National Assembly. According to him, the party's MPs must today try to get rid of Viktoria Vassileva, deputy speaker of the National Assembly, and Lieutenant-Colonel Markov. Otherwise, the parliamentary group would have to be dissolved so that the MPs could continue their work as independent MPs. Mihaylov also demanded the resignation of the group's deputy leader, Darin Georgiev.

Markov, for his part, commented upon entering Parliament this morning that he had made a mistake with Ivelin Mihailov. According to Markov, the responsibility for forming a government lies with the first three political parties. He added that there were healthy forces that would take responsibility for what followed.

Later, on the sidelines of Parliament, Nikolay Markov added that he had not made any threats against members of the group and that it was possible that he would resign from his post. In response to statements by Ivelin Mihailov, who in a Facebook post called for the removal of Viktoria Vassileva and Nikolai Markov from the Velichie parliamentary group, Vassileva pointed out that she did not know Mihailov.
