In the coming months of 2024, around 2,800 unemployed people will start working under the regional employment programs, the press center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy reported. The programmes are funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and have been developed on the basis of proposals from regional and municipal administrations.
The programs are approved by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy. Nearly EUR 7 million are allocated for them this year. With these funds, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy will subsidize the created jobs under the programs for a period of up to 5 months.
