Bulgaria's position regarding the Republic of North Macedonia remains unchanged - our country insists that the signed agreements be respected, caretaker Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dimitar Glavchev said at a hearing in Parliament on the European integration process of North Macedonia following the so-called French proposal and the anti-Bulgarian campaign in the neighboring country.

"The Bulgarian government strictly adheres to the position established by decision of the National Assembly on July 24, 2022, which sets out the conditions under which Bulgaria can support any step in the European integration process of the Republic of North Macedonia", Dimitar Glavchev said.

According to Dimitar Glavchev, there is no pressure on our country to make concessions towards Skopje and Bulgaria's position is shared by our EU partners. 'Not only is there no pressure, but other EU countries are also joining us", caretaker Premier Glavchev emphasized.
