The proposal by the Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria for a technocracy has its advantages, but also its problems, which is why it should be discussed carefully, said the leader of the parliamentary group We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB), Nikolay Denkov, before the meeting of the National Council of the We Continue the Change party.
The former prime minister emphasized that every cabinet requires clear political backing. "As long as Delyan Peevski is in the picture, we have no chance of discussing policy with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS). If Peevski is removed, then we will be able to talk," he added.
Nikolay Denkov urged waiting for the second mandate to be handed over and then deciding on the DSB's proposal for a technical cabinet with the third mandate.
