“The Movement for Rights and Freedoms' resistance forces are not against ethnic qualities and characteristics, but against the way decisions are made, against management, separation and confrontation.” This is what MP Filiz Hyusmenova, who was the first to leave the MRF’s parliamentary group, but also the National Assembly wrote on social media.

Filiz Hyusmenova described the accusations by MPs supporting MRF co-chair Delyan Peevski of threats made on the basis of ethnicity as ridiculous, and warned that though baseless, such a political narrative could have unpredictable consequences.

Meanwhile, MRF co-chair Dzhevdet Chakarov arrived at Rosenets park near Burgas for a meeting with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms honorary meet to discuss whether the people who violated the party’s statutes should stay on as members of the MRF, Dzhevdet Chakarov said in an interview with Nova TV.
