The magical music of the “Terpentina" band has been exciting fans recently, especially after the release of the debut album "Nostalgia”. It contains ten songs with lyrics and music by the frontman of "Terpentina" - popular actor Ivan Yurukov. The arrangement is the work of the whole band. The album can now be heard on all platforms with its romantic lyrics in Bulgarian and memorable melodies, which are not influenced by current trends and fashion. This is one of the reasons why the album is called "Nostalgia".
"It's nostalgia for the first times, when each person discovered the world for the first time - the first time they fell in love, the first time they were stung by a bee, the first time something significant or insignificant happened to them in life ... These first times are less and less common as we grow older. They could still happen to a person now – one just need to ‘react’ against the familiar and comfortable and put themselves in such a condition as to provide them with opportunities for doing something for the first time. This is how I see this album - as an adventure that happens for the first time."
Ivan Yurukov adds that they were not guided by a certain style or genre, but simply let themselves be guided by emotion and the desire to express themselves. Their wide-ranging interests are also due to the fact that the band includes representatives of almost all arts - Stoyan Bozhkilov is a successful artist with many exhibitions abroad and in the country. Apart from being a songwriter, bassist, guitarist in bands, Petko Slavov is also the author of the novel "Despite Love.” Ivan Yurukov and Nikolay Dimitrov are well-known actors both from the theater stage and from the television and cinema screens.
