No active wildfires in the country, with God's help, says PM Glavchev

There are no active wildfires on the territory of Bulgaria, said caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev at the start of the government meeting. "Thanks to the efforts of firefighters, the military, volunteers and everyone around this table, we can now say that the fires have been extinguished. Most importantly, we have saved lives. There were no casualties. There is no greater value than life. In the end, everyone's efforts were supported by nature, with God's help. Without God's help, it would have been difficult for any of us to cope," the Prime Minister said.

Before the meeting, the new Patriarch Daniil visited the Council of Ministers and spoke to Glavchev. The Prime Minister said: "You have heard what a blessing His Holiness Patriarch Daniil gave us. The main message was: have humility. I think this is a very important message at the moment. If everyone can humble themselves, unite, act together, then the results will be much better".
