An explosion has occurred at the Sviloza cellulose factory near Svishtov. Two employees from the factory fire service have been injured, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov said.
The incident took place at around 11 am. The fire has now been fully extinguished by the firefighters who have arrived on the scene. All workers have been evacuated from the workshop. At this point there is no data of any environmental pollution in the area. A mobile station will be sent on site to measure air quality.
