The nine-year-old boy, who was seriously injured in an accident with a cleaning machine on the central beach in Sozopol, has stable parameters, "Pirogov" reported. The child was transported by air from Burgas and underwent diagnostic and treatment measures in order to survive.
According to the data of the beach concessionaire company, the incident happened after the working hours of the lifeguards and the child was left unattended. The boy managed to climb onto the machine and became trapped in the hydraulic drum. The child was saved by the driver, who also called 112.
Tests showed that the driver of the machine, who was detained for 24 hours, did not use alcohol or drugs.
